Villagers in Orrisa

Yeah! I finally have enough of an internet connection here in Viask to post some pictures of the last two weeks in the rural area of Koraput. It was a long two weeks but probably one of the best learning experiences I have ever had. When asked if I would do it again it would be a hard sell. But none the less I am glad I did it. Hope you enjoy.

Ultra poor members in one of the villages

Each week a field officer meets with the villages he is over to check in with the ultra poor members. We took a snap after the weekly savings meeting

I interviewed this lady to see what impact the program has had on her life so far.

She is one of my fav lil indians :)

These are two of the nicer mud huts I have scene

Thacker leading one of the meetings. We sat on the ground to discuss weekly savings plan with the ladies

This is what I ate on for two weeks...yes it was quite the experience eating on leaves
