The big 28!

I turned the big 28 on Sunday. I was first a little sad about being in India and not in NYC with all my friends to celebrate. But the day turned into a day to remember. Grace and I traveled to the state of GOA for a beach weekend and although its monsoon season we still did manage to have a great time. We spent all day sunday on a tour of south goa. We went to a few temples and cathedrals. We finished the day going on a boat cruise to see GOA ancient dancers. After the dancers finished it turned into a full on disco dance party. Of course all the Indian women are not allowed to dance and the DJ was begging for girls. So I jumped up and danced in the middle of the dance floor with all the indians. It was pretty hilarious. They were trying to mimic my dance moves which was rather entertaining since I am such a great dancer..hahaha After the cruise I had quite a few admirers and so I finally agreed to meet three of then at Domino's for a pizza birthday party. It was really fun we even had cake. After dinner Grace and I hit up a local lounge that was playing live music. It turned out to be a great day in India. The best present of the day was receiving an email from all of my friends back in NYC. They put together a Powerpoint presentation for me. It was so sweet of them and I loved it. Rustin also put together a youtube video. Click on the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRjptRjf-BA

Thanks to everyone in India and in the states for making it such a special day :)

Did you do the Lean on Me dance? Or did you think that maybe it was socially unacceptable for women to be dancing? No wonder they were loving you. And, with all my heart, I hope you taught them the stinky leg dance.
